A Special Meeting of the Membership was held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 to vote on the amalgamation of River City Credit Union Ltd. with Royglenor Savings & Credit Union Ltd.
The members in attendance voted in favour of the amalgamation. There are still regulatory organizations that must approve the amalgamation before the final “go ahead”. We should have all final approvals in place by the beginning of May. At that time we will be sending out information pieces to notify the membership of the final status.
