We can all benefit from a little extra protection
All newly issued RCCU Master Cards®, (renewals & new applications) will now arrive with chip card technology. A Chip card or “smart card” is a card with an embedded chip that provides enhanced security because it is very difficult to duplicate. Chip Cards use a four digit PIN to access your funds. Until the full transition to chip cards is complete, use of your magnetic strip card will continue to provide you with a safe and reliable method of payment.
How do I get my PIN?
Your PIN will arrive in the mail approximately 3 days prior to receiving your RCCU MasterCard®.
Can I change my PIN?
Yes, visit any of our (3) three locations and our service representatives will be delighted to assist you in changing your PIN.
Will my Member Card have a Chip card in the future?
Yes, in the future all RCCU Member Cards (debit cards) will contain chip card technology. We will continue to update you, and will advise when the chip card technology is coming to our Member Cards.
