Your MemberCard® Debit Card is your key to accessing your accounts where and when needed, transferring funds, and paying bills quickly and easily.
24 hour access is available to you through the Alberta Regional Network (ARN), CIRCUIT and INTERAC locations in Canada and CIRRUS worldwide. Point of Sale transactions (POS) available in Canada and worldwide
With a Member Card Debit Card® you can..
- Withdraw Cash
- Up to $400 per day (or up to the maximum you have arranged with River City Credit Union) providing that you have sufficient funds in your account.
- No limit to the number of withdrawals per day.
Make Deposits - Use the envelopes at the ACCULINK ATM (Credit unions & ATB). Deposits are held until verified, (next banking day@ 2:00 pm) at which time you have access to the amount deposited.
- Get Account Inquiries
- An ACCULINK (Credit Unions & ATB) automated teller machine will print an up-to-date balance statement for deposits, withdrawals, and account balance inquiries.
- Transfer Funds
- Use your MemberCard® debit card to transfer funds between savings and chequing accounts within the same membership number
- Direct Payment Purchases
- Point of Sale (POS) Terminals let you pay for purchases instantly at participating merchants.
- No limit providing that you have sufficient funds in your account.
Security Tips
- Protect your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
- Use your hand or body to shield you Pin when you are conducting transactions
- Never let your debit card out of your sight
- Regularly check your statements and balances to verify all transactions have been properly documented.
- Never give out your PIN to anyone
- Memorize your PIN – Do not write it on your card or keep it in your wallet
- When selecting your PIN, never use obvious information
